Question 1

Is Timetable Maker really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every feature including export, templates, and dark mode is 100% free. No account or payment is required and there are no watermarks on exports.

Question 2

Where is my timetable stored?

Accepted Answer

Your timetable is stored locally in your browser using LocalStorage. Nothing is uploaded to a server, so your data stays private to this device.

Question 3

Can I use it on mobile?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The builder is fully responsive — the toolbar collapses, the grid scrolls horizontally, and tap-to-add works exactly like click on desktop.

Question 4

How do I export my timetable?

Accepted Answer

Use the toolbar buttons to export as PDF, PNG, or print directly. You can also share via a compressed URL or download the JSON file for backup.

Question 5

Does drag-and-drop work on touch devices?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SortableJS handles touch events, so you can rearrange classes by dragging on phones and tablets.

Question 6

Can I share my timetable with someone else?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Click Share to get a compressed URL that encodes your entire timetable. Anyone opening that URL will see your schedule loaded into their builder.
