1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Timetable Maker (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Timetable Maker is a free, browser-based tool that allows users to create, edit, export, and share school, college, study, and work timetables. The Service runs entirely client-side and stores data in your browser's LocalStorage. Optional cloud features may be added in the future and would be governed by additional terms.

3. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, educational, and commercial purposes. You may create, export, print, and share timetables generated by the Service without attribution (though attribution is appreciated).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code from the Service.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access the Service in a way that sends more requests than a human reasonably could.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or other malicious code into shareable URLs or exported files.
• Impersonate another person or entity in timetable content shared via the Service.

5. Your Content

You retain all rights to the timetable content you create using the Service. By using the Share feature, you acknowledge that the encoded URL contains your content in a reversible form, and you are responsible for any consequences of sharing it. We claim no ownership over your content.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service's design, code, templates, and visual elements — excluding user-generated content — are owned by Timetable Maker and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The templates provided (School, College, Study, Office, Gym, Teacher) are generic and may be freely customised.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all browsers. You use the Service at your own risk. Always verify critical timetables against official schedules.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Timetable Maker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Because your data is stored locally, you are responsible for backing it up via the Export JSON feature.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party CDNs (Tailwind CSS, Font Awesome, Google Fonts, SortableJS, html2canvas, jsPDF) to function. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of these third-party services, and their use is subject to their respective terms and policies.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by closing the browser tab. Because the Service runs client-side, we cannot terminate your access remotely. However, we may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved amicably via email correspondence in the first instance.
